The Writing Center offers many workshops to help students improve their writing. All of our workshops take place in room 808A. Please visit us in The Writing Center if you have any questions, comments or concerns in regards to these workshops.
Today, March 6th, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. there will be a presentation on How to Be an Active Reader presented by Tamara Trujillo (nominated for Teacher of the Year). If you are interested in attending this workshop, arrive about 15 minutes early and bring your student ID to the writing center to check in. We hope to see you there! Friday, March 23rd, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. there will be a presentation on Commonly Misused Words presented by Christy Flores.
Tuesday, March 27th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. there will be a workshop on In-Class Writing led by Janna Anderson.
